Royal Challengers Earn Right To Play Chennai Super Kings In IPL Final

According to Internet Media:  May 28, 2011 - The Royal Challengers Bangalore brushed Mumbai Indians aside in the semi-final, with typical aplomb associated with them when Chris Gayle fires, and will now take on the Chennai Super Kings in the final of the IPL 2011. The game will be played at Chennai's backyard at the Chepauk and will see them go into it as favourites to retain the trophy they had won in 2010.

To be fair, once Gayle got going, the Mumbai Indians knew that they would never be able to hold a candle to the Bangalore score. It is only an early dismissal of Gayle that evens things up, or at least that is what the tournament this year has shown.

Bangalore will now hope that Gayle can fire for the one last occasion against Chennai Super Kings. At home, the Super Kings reign supreme, having won all their seven games this season. They are 2-1 against Bangalore this season, both wins coming in the absence of a Gayle-show.

Dhoni's new look: MSD sports a bald look after World Cup triumph

According to Internet Media:   MUMBAI: Less than 24 hours after India were crowned cricket's World champions, captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni was spotted with a bald look at the team's felicitation ceremony here Sunday.

A new-look Dhoni posed with the World Cup trophy and his Man of the Match award of the final at the Gateway of India with the rest of the team. Later the entire Indian team, was at Raj Bhavan, the official residence of the Governor of Maharashtra, where Presiden Pratibha Patil felicitated the champions.

Dhoni's hairstyle has always been in the news since the start of his international career in 2004 when he had longer hair. His locks got special praise from then Pakistani president Pervez Musharraf who had advised Dhoni never to change his look. Dhoni later cut his hair but Musharraf still rated him the most stylish player in the world.

"Though Sachin Tendulkar is the world's most consistent cricketer, Dhoni is the most entertaining and exciting," Musharraf said in an interview to News 24.

"Once I praised his hair style. Now he has gone for a shorter haircut, but he is still exciting to watch," Musharraf had said last year.
