According to Internet Media: On Wednesday, April 6, the Disney Cruise Line will be holding a press conference in Manhattan to update us on what’s ahead next year.
"The New York event next week will reveal our plans for 2012, including new ports and itineraries," said Jonathan Frontado, DCL’s public relations manager.
As you can expect, speculation is running wild as to where those new ports will be.
The New York City area — which has thriving cruise ship ports in Manhattan, Brooklyn and nearby Bayonne, N.J. — tops the list.

And there’s Hawaii, where Disney is scheduled to open Aulani, a new Disney Vacation Club property, on the island of Oahu later this year.Back in January, Al Weiss, Walt Disney Parks and Resorts president of worldwide operations, told me that when the Disney Fantasy sets sail next spring, joining the Magic, Wonder and Dream, "the entire world will become a playing field."He added that, "With the addition of the Dream and the Fantasy, we’ll likely be seeking new customers in other countries, particularly in the Asian market."
