According to Internet Media: The York Revolution has announced a partnership with Maewyn's Irish Pub & Restaurant as the new caterer for the Bud Light Picnic Pavilion at Sovereign Bank Stadium.
Located at 110 N. George St. in downtown York, Maewyn's is only two blocks from the ballpark.
"It's a logical partnership, since the Revolution and Maewyn's are both proud to be part of the action downtown," said Revolution vice president for business development Neil Fortier.
The Bud Light Picnic Pavilion is located beyond the right-field wall at Sovereign Bank Stadium. As picnic pavilion caterer, Maewyn's will handle the various all-you-can-eat and group picnic event options the Revolution offers. The menu and picnic options are available at YorkRevolution.com.
White Rose Bar & Grill had been the caterer for the Bud Light Picnic Pavilion for the past two years.
"We look forward to partnering with the York Revolution as another way to serve York City and York County," said Ken Painter of Heritage Hospitality Management, the parent company of Maewyn's.
Ettline entered into a three-year agreement to be the official food service provider for the Revolution earlier in the offseason.
Heritage Hospitality Management also manages Knickers Pub and Ironwoods Restaurant, located at Heritage Hills Golf Resort, as well as Bogey Macaws at Springwood Golf Club and Loxley's Restaurant at Heritage Hotel Lancaster.
"With Maewyn's operated by Heritage Hospitality Management, they certainly bring a lot of credibility to this deal," Fortier said. "They have a great reputation in York, and we know the food will be great."
